Design is what I’m formally trained for, but art direction is what I’m naturally wired to do.
My name is Micah and I've been a creative in the advertising world for around 10 years, working on a wide variety of clients in many industries from Healthcare to QSRs, from Data Centers to national soda brands, and a lot in between.
With those clients, I've been able to lead and contribute to the strategic design thinking of their brands, websites, and advertising, with a strong focus on digital and social. I've even dabbled in innovative experiential with a virtual reality storytelling campaign. What I love about all of this work is learning and developing an interest in each client's business and their needs, along with a deep understanding of what drives their consumer base.
With all of this experience, I've developed a versatile skill set, strong presentation skills, and a focused, but collaborative working spirit. I've led teams of designers and writers for regional to international brands. Daily, I am working to set up our work for success by asking the right questions, digging deeper into the ask, and seeing past the brief into what the opportunity can be. I pride myself in opening up the creative thinking on these teams to allow them to be truly creative and feel empowered to bring fresh, conceptual thinking to each project and client.
